CEO and Co-Founder
Angie has dedicated her life to freeing those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. With over 25 years of experience working in the rehabilitation field, she has expertise with all aspects of the industry including the clinical process, drug education/prevention and community outreach, as well as the behind the scenes aspects of running an addiction treatment center. Her wealth of experience coupled with her natural talent for connecting with people and a deep desire to make a difference in the world has made Angie the leader she is today.
Angie maintains involvement with the day to day operations, continually looking for ways to improve and innovate. She insists on delivering cutting-edge rehabilitation methods and works closely with the clinical staff to ensure that every client who walks through the doors of Elevate receives the best care and tools that the industry has to offer, which in turn, gives them the best chance at a successful life in recovery.
In her free time, Angie takes care of two wonderful dogs. She is also the the Co-Host of the popular Elevate Experience Podcast, a no-holds-barred look at addiction and the power of effective treatment.
President, Chairman and Co-Founder
Dan has been working in the substance abuse treatment industry for over 25 years. His passion is helping addicts holistically and through a blend of both western and eastern philosophies. Dan holds both CATC (Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor) and CADC-CS (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor-Clinical Supervisor) credentials and has extensive experience as a rehab director; managing multiple facilities and working with employees, contractors, vendors, government officials and politicians.
As President and Chairman of the Board, Dan’s mission is to grow the unique Elevate model outside of California and to bring it nationwide. Dan brings a unique and modern perspective to substance abuse and the problems faced by addicts, families, and society. He has appeared on television, radio and in the news.
Dan is passionate about disrupting the current addiction treatment model in the USA and wants to see people overcome their addiction issues and not just remain sober, but thrive in life while living their passion.
Chief Operating Officer

My previous employment was as a construction superintendent. The skills I developed there regarding logistics and operations, combined with my personal interactions with those in recovery and self-help, greatly helped me to make a successful transition into the drug and alcohol rehabilitation field. Since working for Elevate, I've continued to develop skills related to linear thinking and problem solving, which have contributed to streamlining operations and successful risk management. Additionally, I maintain strong interaction and good relationships with my employees, which has proven successful toward accomplishing company goals.
I've had experience with recovery since 1996 and began working in the field in early 2004. In late 2004 I began working here at Elevate.

Chief Program Director

Matt supervises all the clinical staff at various levels of care, long-term & short-term residential and IOP (Intensive Outpatient), at multiple facilities. On a regular basis, Matt collaborates with Elevate's President, CEO, COO & Clinical Director to evaluate, plan and monitor program objectives and requirements.
Matt has been working in the substance abuse treatment field for 20 years. Matt is credentialed as CADC-CS (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor - Clinical Supervisor) through CCAPP (California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals). He helped create an effective, holistic alcohol & drug treatment curriculum that has been in use at Elevate Addiction Services since 2015.

In addition to offering drug and alcohol counseling, Tim Sinnott is a counselor who is highly skilled and experienced in marriage and family counseling, treating anxiety and depression, and offering coping strategies for life transitions. He utilizes positive psychology as much as possible during his counseling sessions. Positive psychology is a treatment approach that believes all people want to lead fulfilling and meaningful personal and professional lives.
Tim is an experienced and talented administrator and director of mental health and addiction treatment facilities. With years spent as Executive Director at The Palm Beach Institute, The Camp Recovery Center, Promises Malibu, and Elevate Addiction Services, Tim has guided dozens if not hundreds of fellow professionals along his empathetic, clinical path to excellence in providing therapeutic treatment. A leader in the industry, Tim has also served as the President (1997 - 2002) and Dean of Fellows (2002 – present) for the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC), helping to shape the industry and continually improving the level of treatment available in California. Tim also spent several years as CEO to Eric Clapton's facility in the Caribbean, Crossroads of Antigua.
Medical Director

Dr. Krishna has 25 years of experience in the field of medicine. He has worked for Elevate Addiction Services for over 2 years, and is board-certified in family and addiction medicine. Currently, he is pursuing a fellowship in psychiatry and is affiliated with both UC Irvine and UC Davis. He is interested in General Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Mental Health, and End-of-Life Care (such as palliative and hospice care).
Dr. Krishna became an M.D. at the young age of 24. Shortly after, he went to get his Master's degree at the University of Singapore. After this, he began his residency training in New York. Later he moved to Toledo, Ohio to do his residency in Family Medicine. After finishing his residency, he moved to Kenton, Ohio to start his first private practice. Besides his practice, he also worked to lessen obesity among children while living in Kenton.
In 2008, he moved to Houston, Texas to help better his daughter's education. There, he continued Family Medicine as well as his charity work.
Lured by the good weather and large medical community, he moved to Folsom, California in 2012, where he currently resides.
Dr. Krishna has two children; one daughter who is studying law in graduate school and one son who is currently a high school senior. His wife, Vasanthi Krishna, is also a physician.
Dr. Krishna always repeats the same mantra: "Health is Wealth."
Director of Human Resources

Endurance, objectivity, productivity, logistics, and time/people management. I have a genuine interest in our employees and their wellbeing. My goal is for everyone to enjoy coming to work, and for their days to be as productive as possible toward the end of helping people put their lives back together.
As HR Director, in addition to recruiting, hiring, benefits administration, and OSHA, DHCS and Joint Commission compliance in the HR area, I also oversee the Conduct and Security Departments at EAS.
Director of Intake & Clinical Records

His primary strengths include clinical insight into substance abuse/mental health, hard work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure. Skill sets include counseling/clinical competency, revenue generation strategies, strong written/oral communication skills, insurance billing/contracting knowledge and general empathy for others struggling with substance use disorders.
Jesse Quaid is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor- Certified Addiction Specialist (CADC-CAS) who works in the Intake, Insurance and Clinical Records departments at Elevate Addiction Services. Jesse studied business and marketing at the University of North Florida as well as Western Governors University achieving his Bachelors of Science in Business- Marketing Management. Jesse considers the need for helping people with alcohol and drug use to be a personal mission and one that he feels is necessary within the current epidemic of use throughout the country and world.
Jesse's job responsibilities include: overseeing the insurance billing office, meeting with clients for assessments and treatment planning to effectively coordinate their care, admissions as well as overseeing the clinical documentation compliance for the all of the Elevate Addiction Services facilities. Jesse has been employed within the addiction field since 2011 and has worked in various capacities such as insurance billing, admissions and intake and general counseling services for individuals struggling with alcohol and drug use.
Director of Finance
Worked in field: 8 Years
Jordan's mathematical and analytical abilities coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills allows him to manage the accounting departments effectively.
His skills are: Having strong creative skills to develop and innovate solutions, creating financial reports and presenting them to others, having extensive knowledge of financial software and analytical tools and being detail oriented with a passion for accuracy.
His job duties include: Overseeing all company financial activities to ensure it stays in strong financial standing. Main duties include managing the accounting departments, building revenue reports, delivering unbiased budget expectations, distributing calculated funds to various departments, handling the company's transactions and debts, cash flow forecasting and implementing company financial policies.
Director of Health and Wellness

Leslie has been working with families of clients in the program for 9 years. She has strong communication skills, compassion for others, and a drive to provide the best services we can to each client and their family throughout their experience with Elevate. For the past 6 years, she additionally has been overseeing the detox area, health services, and office of family support. She has implemented a lot of new protocols for the operations of these areas to ensure the clients are receiving the highest quality of care that we are able to provide. She has a strong work ethic and it's not unusual for her to be up at the facility at 2am or on the phone all night helping guide our staff on how to best manage whatever situations come up.
Her duties include: the management and supervision of the detox area, the health services staff, and the office of family support. She directs all the day to day activities of the medical staff (doctors, nurses, ancillary staff), the detox staff, office of family support, and oversees the clients receiving those services. She also is the contact person for families of the clients in the Elevate program, providing progress and status updates, and support and guidance for the families.

John's strengths are being able to work on almost any area of the Elevate program. I have been trained throughout the years in many departments in case anything comes up. I feel I am very passionate about helping people and making sure things are not falling through the cracks.
Job Duties: John works as the Case Manager of the Elevate Program. I am able to guide each resident through the program with the appropriate actions. I also oversee the Rehab department which includes AOD Tech's, 1 on 1 counselors, and Program Support.

Mason has always shown a strong desire to help clients recover from drug and alcohol addiction and to provide a strong support system for our employees and counselors as well, allowing them to reach their full potential in their current roles. Mason is detail oriented, organized, efficient oral and written communicator, and passionate about creating a positive workplace for our staff and an excellent recovery environment for our clients.
Mason Ungar is a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor-Clinical Supervisor who manages the Elevate Addiction Services South Lake Tahoe facility. As a Regional Director, Mason is responsible for all aspects of the South Lake Tahoe facility, including staffing, finances, rehabilitation services, community activities, certification and licensing and facility maintenance. Mason has worked in the drug and alcohol rehabilitation field for over 15 years, holding many positions throughout his career including conduct intervention counseling, family advising, one-on-one counseling, and has been the Director at the South Lake Tahoe facility since it’s opening in 2008.

Christina is responsible for overseeing the general health of the clients, ensuring that their medical needs are being met, and ensuring that state and local requirements are being met within her department. Christina works closely with Elevate Addiction Services contracted MD and his staff who screen all clients entering the program.
Christina Kuzio has been a Registered Nurse for 39 years - the majority of those years working in a large South San Francisco Bay Emergency Room. For the past 14 years, Christina has been managing the Health and Wellness Department at EAS in Watsonville, CA. Christina has volunteered for many years with Flying Doctors, a humanitarian group that provides health services to underdeveloped areas in Mexico and Central America. She also gives her time to Tara Home, an end of life/hospice care home at Land of Medicine Buddha in Soquel, Ca.
Lead Admissions Counselor

Mike is highly organized, and played an integral role in creating the current department structure, including employee compensation plans as well as day to day operations. His communication skills, organizational abilities and natural ability to form genuine connections with others are among his greatest strengths.
Mike DiPalma has been with the company since April of 2003 and holds an AA degree in Psychology from Los Angeles Valley College. He also attended Cal Poly University where he studied behavioral science, mathematics and science.
His duties include: the management and supervision of admissions personnel, along with maintaining his role as a first point of contact for both prospective clients and their families. His ultimate responsibility is making sure EAS has enough new admits to remain viable and successful.

My strengths/skills include being an excellent communicator and being able to speak with and ultimately relate with just about all people from all walks of life.I can also speak Spanish so I am able to help those that speak only Spanish find treatment help as well. My name is Kevin Mallon. I am 45 years old and have worked for Dan Manson /Elevate Addiction Services since May of 2012. Just over 8 years now. My job is in the Admissions Department as an Admissions Specialist and my duties mainly include speaking with prospective clients and loved ones of prospective clients over the phone in hopes of getting them enrolled into one of our programs here at Elevate... and if they are not qualified financial or otherwise I can also help them with more appropriate resources.
Lead Female One-on-One Counselor

My duties are individually counseling clients weekly throughout their program, helping them rebuild trust with their families and set boundaries. I write treatment plans and progress notes. I counsel clients with abuse trauma, help them rebuild their self worth and help them obtain healthy coping skills. I also work on a domestic violence hotline every weekend.
Lead Male One-on-One Counselor

Scott has a lengthy history of working in behavioral health with various populations and twenty-two years of experience, specifically working in substance abuse treatment.
Scott is one of the initial contacts with all clients that enables the development of trust between each client and the organization. Scott employs a holistic approach to his counseling, incorporating child of origin traumas and how the consequences of these events are replicated in one's present and future, and the application of relapse dynamics, enabling his clients to bypass typical barriers and triggers to success.
Scott has been with the company since July of 2018 and holds master's degrees in social work and counseling psychology, and is a certified addiction specialist. Scott is also currently a Ph.D. candidate in psychology with an estimated conferment date of 12/21.
His duties include: The development and tracking of initial client treatment plans, weekly 1:1 sessions with each assigned client, crisis management, documentation of progress, and collaboration with other treatment team members.
