Today we have Sarah Spier with us to discuss her perspective on the opioid epidemic, her first-hand experience with heroin abuse, and how she overcame it. Formerly a previous IV heroin user, Sarah is now one of the Directors of the largest adolescent substance abuse and mental health treatment facilities in Washington State. We dive in about the challenges she faced during her addiction and the challenges that we are facing today with Fentanyl now being the number one cause of death amongst US adults, ages 18-45.
