Episode 73: Rebuilding Your Body and Mind After Trauma: A Conversation with Jewels

Jewels - The Elevate Experience Podcast

In this week’s episode, we sit down with Jewels, the two-time award-winning author of The Making of a Woman, and a national medal winner as a figure competitor. After enduring an abusive childhood, Jewels used her trauma to enter recovery and begin her journey of competitive bodybuilding. At age 49, Jewels placed 3rd at the NPC North American Championships in 2021. We get into building empowerment through transparency, building relationships that support your sobriety, and how there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to recovery… or bodybuilding.
