Episode 74: From Addiction to Ultramarathon Runner; Success Story of Matthew Roda

Matthew Roda - The Elevate Experience Podcast

This week we sat down with Matthew Roda, author of the book How To Take Down Goliath & Unleash Your Inner Hero. Matthew, who is a husband, father, published author, business owner, and ultra-marathon runner, didn’t get here without his own struggles with addiction. Like many others, Matt began dabbling with marijuana in high school, which led to hallucinogen use and eventual abuse of OxyContin.  Now that Matt has overcome those tumultuous times, he’s taken to a new hobby – Running.  In this episode, we talk about the transformative process Matt went through and how he combats complacency to continue to push himself to new limits.
